Off Topic - Starcraft 2 anyone?

I'm getting it this week, is anyone else? I really liked the first one and brood wars, but the battle.net play was the BEST. Playing against a real person and Use Map Settings (UMS) games are so much fun, I can't wait! My battle.net name is the same as this one, so add me to friends if you want.

I'm going to buy it today. It's bad that Blizz doesn't care about privacy and support strong DRM... but uh, i want this game! It also has an really cool "Level-Editor" that enables you to make every kind of game, even Tetris or an Ego-Shooter. But OK, it is an RTS-Engine so not every kind of game will also look good .

I will : I played the first 7 Missions (of 26) now and it really rocks (but didn't had that much time for playing)! It has a great storytelling, great graphics (it don't look super A³ awesome, but it looks good) and varied missions. And the missions are really cool with really nice ideas, it is not only "destroy all enemies!". I also played a bit online. 3on3 vs KI but we loosed really bad against the KI on "normal". The main problem for us was that we didn't played the first Starcraft and also don't know every unity, possibilities, etc yet. So i'm staying at the single player campaign for now and also playing some rounds Tower Defense (a great mod ). Soo, overall it is a "must have" for RTS-Fans, and the 39€ will be a good investment. Even if you only get one of the three campaigns you will get many hours of pure fun with a perfect game(Blizzard quality at its best ).

LOL I've been playing almost non stop since I bought it. Not the campaigns, but the player vs player. I liked Starcraft, so I also like this one. I like all the little things like achievements and things you can earn.

I've beat it =) It's nice but it's so wrong that the campaign upgrades cannot be obtained in the skirmish mode

I am to almost 1000 games played on Starcraft 2 :p I am at about 1/2 win and lost. My wife likes to sit behind me and watch me play. It is like a back seat driver, only for a game. :/ I am almost to 'platinum' level. I started in Bronze, then went to Silver, worked up through Gold. So I guess I am getting better overall eh? Now I am rank 2 in my gold division. I wonder if I will ever make it to 'diamond'. :/
