Hi,

My name is Martin Morse and I am an Internet Marketer. I sell many things over the Internet and I am starting a new business to sell DVD movies and Video games.

The video game market is very competitive and the big gaming companies really regulate it so there is not a lot of profit. I can still make a profit because I'm an expert at marketing.

I know that some of you must have made some really exciting games and you may have even tried to sell them. I can sell them. I have the knowledge to do this. If you are interested I would like to talk with you about any games you may have created.

It will not cost you anything and I will do all the work in selling your game/s and give you a royalty for every game sold. I also have a distributor network of over 82,000 distributors that will help me in selling your game.

If your game is good and I do my job correctly I will be able to sell thousands of them if not tens of thousands and that would put a lot of money in your pocket.

So you have no risk. I don't want any money from you now or ever, just the license to sell your game. This would be very profitable to both of us.

If you are interested please contact me.

Thank you,

Martin Morse

an interesting proposition for some. have you a portfolio? (or whatever the business equivalent is?) also, where are you geographically located? (not trying to be nosey, just depending on where either party is located, can have different legal ramifications on contractual obligations, regardless of the fact that it was agreed in the frontier land of the internet)

Hi Tim,

I live in Tucson AZ, USA. If anyone is interested and contacts me by email I will be happy to give full details. My business is license in AZ and I can provide the license number and what ever other information you need. We will also draw up a paper outlining the joint venture.

The bottom line is if I can sell your video game I will make a bigger profit that trying to sell from the big companies. Also if it catches on a single game could generate millions. Also I pay big royalties. Most marketers only offer a 5% royalty because marketing is very expensive but I am very good at what I do and have a distributorship already in place so I can pay a lot more. We can negotiate this together.

Again I will never ask any money from you to do this. I make money for both of us when I sell your program.

You did your work already so now it's my turn.

I hope that helps and it was a good question.

Sounds good, but you may want to have a real email address and webpage to give it a more serious look and feel. Something I want to know is, why you think, you're good at marketing and how did you get into a network of 82.000 distributors?
I hope you don't mind the questions?

Hi,

I will show you what anyone needs to know. I am using a yahoo address for posts like these as I get a lot of spam. Like I said in my last post I will be happy to show you what you want to know. I'm just not comfortable putting all that info in a forum.

I will also provide all details on how I will market the game/s. I can sell it two ways. Using my website where I have the distributors and by using a direct marketing approach for the game itself. When I use that approach I spend thousands but it pays off.

Anyway I can go into great detail with you or anyone who contacts me by email. Again you will not have to put up any money at all. I’m not after your money, I want the rights to sell your program. I will make the money for both of us when I sell it.

Thanks,

Martin

The fine print.

Basically it will be very simple.

1. You give us the rights to sell your game
2. You can make it conditional like giving us one year
3. At the end of one year if we do not make a certain
number of sales you can walk away with your program
4. If we do make the number of sales we get the rights to
resale your game but we still pay you royalties
5. We pay you royalties for every sale regardless if I am
making a profit or not. This is important for you because
it could take months of marketing to make a profit even
though we are making a lot of sales. So you get paid
every time we sell your game. My profit will come later
if I do my job right (and I will).

Everything will be done in writing. We will change the contract
until each party is happy with it. If we can’t reach an agreement
then we don’t sign. This is for both of our protection.

I can’t think of anything fairer than that. I don’t want to rip you off
I want to make money and I will make you money at the same time.
The way I outlined it above means no risk to you.

Thank you,

Martin

yea, i have been in coraspondance with martin, asking questions, seeing what the story is.
he seems to be on the level to me. he is not one of the established. he is new to the games industry. whether or not he can make it fly, well time will tell, but he doesn't seem interested in ripping anyone off.
i will be looking to organise a little bit of business with him as a tester. see how it goes. i will of course let everyone know how things go. if i get burned, i will let you all know. if its all cool, ditto. if it all goes ok could be an interesting route to pubication for dx studio developers.

of course, dont take my word for gospel. go into any business relationship with your radar turned on. and yes, always read the fine print. and if you dont like the fine print. just have it changed.

I know this thread is ancient, but non the less... Martin, are you still involved in the sales and distribution of indie games? Because i might be interested in doing business with you within the next year or so. I just want to know more about you, you're business etc... What is your website url? I send an email to your gmail address but got no reply. do you still use it?

I used a guy like Martin to sell one of my desktop games - Brickanoid a few years back. He generated some money (in a range of $4000.00)for me.....the thing is he was sending me reports on how many copies he sold, but I had to count on his honesty, since there no real control on how many copies were sold.

Martin i'd gladly take you up on that offer once I obtain the comercial version of Dx Studios. You by any chance wouldn't be interested it funding for the software liscence in return for some good deals on some game coming up would you. I have a video of one I've started up on YouTube called Warrior Legend. It's Action Adventure RPG. Knight in shining armor ara.with magic and monsters and all the good stuff that should be in an RPG.

I doubt you guys will get a answer from him. He hasn't visited the forum since November-10th-2007, the same day he joined it. Seems to me like he's just a spammer, i mean for an "internet marketer" I would expect him to at least have an official email address instead of yahoo.
